Verify your email and complete first login

Chapter 2 · about 3 minutes to read

This is chapter 2 of the Organization track. You signed up in chapter 1. Now you'll confirm the email address you registered with, sign in, and meet your empty dashboard.

Time: about 2 minutes. Prerequisites: access to the inbox you used to register, and the password you just chose.

Step 1 — Open the verification email

Within 60 seconds of completing the signup form, Zyra sends a verification email to the address you registered with. The sender is noreply@getzyra.io.

Heads-up. While our outbound email is finishing migration (founder-issue-10), the first verification message may come from the Zyra founder's personal address. The contents and the verification link are still valid.

The email contains two equivalent ways to verify:

  • A 6-digit code to paste into the verification screen.
  • A click-through link that verifies you automatically and sends you to the dashboard.

Either path works. Pick whichever is easier on the device you're reading mail on. The code and the link both expire after 24 hours.

Step 2 — Verify the code (or just click the link)

If you clicked the link, skip to Step 3.

If you're using the code, return to the tab where you finished signup — you should still be on the "Check your email" screen. Type the 6-digit code into the six boxes and click Verify. Codes are not case-sensitive.

What if the email doesn't arrive

Corporate mail filters sometimes hold the first message from a new sender. Try this, in order:

  1. Wait 2 minutes. Greylisting is the most common cause.
  2. Check your spam, promotions, and quarantine folders. Add noreply@getzyra.io to your safe-senders list.
  3. Click "Resend verification email" on the verification screen. There's no rate limit for the first three resends.
  4. Ask your IT team to allow-list getzyra.io. This is the right fix for tight corporate filters.
  5. Email hello@getzyra.io if nothing above works. We'll verify you manually and investigate.

Step 3 — Your first sign-in

After verification you're redirected to app.getzyra.io. The first time you arrive, the dashboard is intentionally empty:

  • 0 Compute Nodes registered.
  • 0 Virtual Servers running.
  • 0 jobs completed.

That's the expected starting point. Three large cards greet you at the top of the screen, each pointing at one of your next actions:

  • Connect your first device → opens chapter 1 of Stage 2.
  • Invite a teammate → opens the Members page covered in chapter 3.
  • Deploy a Virtual Server → unlocks once you have at least one Compute Node.

A small avatar in the top-right corner shows your initials and current organization. The left sidebar lists every section you'll use day-to-day: Dashboard, Compute Nodes, Virtual Servers, Jobs, Billing, Settings.

What just happened

Your account is now verified. The audit log records the verification event, the time, and the IP address you verified from — useful later if your security team asks for proof of account ownership. You can move on to inviting your team, or jump straight to connecting a device if you're testing solo.
