Estimated Monthly Savings $2,000

vs. Standard Cloud Provider

How we calculate this: We assume traditional cloud costs of $0.42/hr for a 16-CPU instance (AWS m6i.4xlarge equivalent), $0.78/hr for GPU compute (g4dn.xlarge equivalent), and 730 hours/month of utilization. Zyra's $0.08/device/hour applies to active time only — idle time is free. Your actual savings depend on your workload mix and idle ratio. See full methodology →

The Problem

Companies spend $100K+ annually on cloud compute while thousands of employee devices sit idle after hours. That's wasted hardware investment and unnecessary cloud costs.

The Solution

Zyra turns your existing employee computers into a secure private compute cloud. Run batch jobs, CI/CD pipelines, and data processing without cloud rental fees (you pay $0.08/device-hour for Zyra's scheduling & payments).

Everything you need for
enterprise distributed computing

Purpose-built for security-conscious organizations that need compute power without cloud dependency.

No Cloud Rental Cost

Use the hardware your organization already owns. No cloud VMs to provision; you pay $0.08/device-hour for Zyra's scheduling + payments.

On-device Data Control

Data stays on the devices your organization controls. Suitable for organizations with data-residency obligations.

Security Controls

Sandboxed workloads, TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256 at rest, RBAC v2, audit logs. SOC 2 Type II audit in progress (target Q4 2026).

IT-Admin Friendly

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Zyra.

Zyra monitors Compute Node health via heartbeats every 30 seconds. If a Compute Node goes offline mid-task, heartbeat-driven failover reassigns the task to another available node; no manual intervention is required during standard node failure. Jobs are designed to be fault-tolerant by default.
Yes. Every task runs inside a sandboxed Docker container with no network access, read-only filesystem, and strict resource limits. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). The Zyra agent cannot access the host machine's files, and task data is automatically purged after completion.
On the example workloads in our ROI calculator, organizations save 60-81% versus equivalent AWS instances. The marginal cost of running on hardware you already own is essentially electricity. Try the calculator with your own fleet size; full assumptions are in our methodology.
Traditional cloud providers rent you hardware in their data centers and bill 730 hours/month per instance. Zyra runs Virtual Servers as Docker containers on PCs your organization already owns, billed only when active. You keep on-device data control, avoid vendor lock-in, and pay roughly $0.08 per device-hour. Even AWS Spot Instances still leave the data and the bill in someone else's data center.
GDPR-compliant today; SOC 2 Type II audit in progress (target Q4 2026); ISO 27001-aligned controls operational; PCI SAQ A self-attested at 89%; OWASP ASVS Level 1 at 91%; NIST CSF 2.0 tier 2.7. HIPAA is not in scope today — we do not accept Protected Health Information as workload input. Full evidence-backed posture on /security.html.
In normal use, no. The agent caps CPU and RAM consumption (administrator-configurable; default ~50% of available cores) and pauses workloads when interactive use is detected (keyboard, mouse, foreground app). Admins can also schedule Zyra to run only after hours. Compute Node operators can opt out of any individual job from the system-tray icon.
Most pilot customers reach first job in about 15 minutes. You install a small agent on each PC — Windows MSI, macOS .pkg, or pushed via Group Policy/Intune/Jamf — and the device registers itself with your organization. No reboot required. Linux server agent is available; mobile is planned for Phase 2.
Hourly billing matches your actual workload spikes. Pay $0 when devices are idle. Pay only for the compute you actually use. Most cloud providers force you into per-month or per-instance commitments that bill 730 hours/month even when your workload is bursty. Zyra's per-active-hour model lines up with how real workloads behave — and it's why our 8-CPU dev-environment example shows ~90% savings.
Most standard Linux Docker images run without modification, including Python, Node.js, Java, .NET, Go, Rust, R, and Julia workloads. Windows containers are on the roadmap. Containers run with no network access by default; outbound access can be enabled per Virtual Server. Maximum image size is governed by your plan.
Yes. The REST API at api.getzyra.io covers every action available in the dashboard. The CLI ships as a single binary for Windows/macOS/Linux and uses the same API. We publish OpenAPI specs and example GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Jenkins templates so CI pipelines can deploy Virtual Servers in one step.
