Sign up for Zyra
This is chapter 1 of the Organization track. By the end you'll have a verified Zyra account, your organization created, and a clean dashboard waiting for your first Compute Node.
Time: about 5 minutes. Prerequisites: a work email you can check now, and permission to create an account on behalf of your organization.
Step 1 — Visit getzyra.io and click "Sign up for free"
Go to getzyra.io. The "Sign up for free" button sits in the top-right corner on desktop and inside the hamburger menu on mobile. It opens the registration page at app.getzyra.io/register.
The form asks for three things: your work email, your full name, and a password. The password must be at least 12 characters with one uppercase, one lowercase, one digit, and one special character. We use bcrypt with high cost factors — no one at Zyra can see your password.
Tip. Use your work email (not a personal Gmail). It makes inviting teammates later one click instead of three.
Step 2 — Fill in your organization
After the personal-account form, you'll create your organization. You need:
- Organization name — display name on invoices, dashboards, and email. 3-100 characters.
- Organization slug — short URL-safe identifier. Auto-suggested from the name. Used in URLs like
app.getzyra.io/orgs/your-slug. - Industry — for our internal usage analytics; pick the closest match.
- Estimated team size — used to recommend a starting plan.
The Starter plan is selected by default and is free for the first 14 days. You can switch plans any time without losing data.
Step 3 — Verify your email
Within a minute, you'll receive a verification email from noreply@getzyra.io. Click the link. The link expires after 24 hours. If it doesn't arrive, check your spam folder, then click "Resend verification email" on the signup page. Corporate email filters sometimes hold the first message from a new sender for a few minutes.
Step 4 — Log in for the first time
After verification you're redirected to app.getzyra.io. Sign in with the email and password you just created. You'll see:
- A welcome banner with three "first steps" cards: install your first Compute Node, deploy a Virtual Server, invite a teammate.
- An empty dashboard — no devices yet, no usage yet, no charges yet.
- The main left-side navigation: Dashboard, Compute Nodes, Virtual Servers, Jobs, Billing, Settings.
What just happened
You created a Zyra account, a Zyra organization, and you're signed in. No charges, no commitment — the Starter plan is free for 14 days and you can cancel any time before then.
Troubleshooting
- Verification email didn't arrive. Wait 2 minutes, then check spam. If still nothing, "Resend verification email" or contact hello@getzyra.io.
- "Email already in use" error. You may have signed up before. Use "Forgot password" to recover.
- Organization slug conflict. Slugs are globally unique. Try adding a region or suffix (
acme-eu,acme-platform).
